The law against incest is based on very old moral principles.
Yes...just like laws against homosexuals getting "married".
After gay "marriage" is conquered...this will be the ACLU's next battle...then onto those old-fashioned pedophilia laws

The justifications for homosexuality can easily be applied to adult incest. I remember Rick Santorum warned against this and was mocked in the liberal media. "It'll never happen," they cried.

...gee, I don't know. I'm thinking beastiality may come before pedophilia. This story sure does gross me out. I think you have to be genuinely disturbed to marry your sister. (unless she's Carmen Elektra, then it's ok)

I do feel somewhat sorry for them. Even though they are genetically related, they weren't raised as brother and sister so those normal brother/sister feelings didn't develop.
This is one of those extremely rare downsides to adoption but I think we will see more and more of these stories in the future as artificial insemination becomes more and more popular with one man possibly fathering up to 20 children by different women, none of his chosing.
We may have to revert to mandatory DNA testing just to deal with that situation.

"People have said that our children are disabled, but that is wrong. They are not disabled," said Patrick.
"Eric, our eldest child, has epilepsy, but he was born two months premature, he also has learning difficulties. Our other daughter, Sarah, has special needs," Patrick said. Who would have guessed this?

Uh... that sounds disabled to me.

the expert says 50% of children born from incest have disabilty - looks like 2 of the 4 children have disabilities - res judicata

There are sound reasons (as well as biblical) for not screwing around with your siblings let alone marrying them.

Well, I guess this is the end of that old expression about "kissing your sister."
