I have one thing to say about this Libby item:

If I were POTUS, I would have pardoned Libby YESTERDAY, I would have thrown this right back in the libs faces.

I would turn loose of all the information on Wilson and Flame...let the American people make up their own minds on this garbage.

As far as President Bush 'needing' the Congress and Senate, has he ever had them in his 6 years of being POTUS, No! only when it suited THEM, so why worry about that now....

If I were POTUS, I wouldn't put up with this garbage, and as far as dirty hairy calling me to tell me not to pardon Libby, thats right when I would have done it!!!!

Bad idea IMO. You pardon Libby yesterday, you admit he is guilty.

I feel the same way, but it wouldn't be prudent. I'd wait until the my last day in office, or the day he had to surrender to jail.

Too much of a hornet's nest to stir up right now. Iran, Iraq, NK, etc is far to important to get distracted until he has to pardon him.

I agree.

Look at what happened to Nifong when those players, their families, and lawyers came out immediately and hammered.

They did not shut up and wait for the legal process to conclude.
