"It is kinda funny. Funnier to me will be if the conservative blogosphere rally's around to protect gay porn after getting the vapors over Ann's quip."
It's similarly ironic to me that Ann Coulter was one of the few, if only, people to defend Jeff Gannon once his homosexual activities were exposed.
Many of the same people who are waxing so self-righteous about her joke and calling it hate speech and her a gay-bashing bigot, were front and center mocking Jeff Gannon for his homosexuality.
But they would rather be self-righteous than consistent.
FYI: Ann made the following remarks at CPAC during the same Q&A she made the faggot comment:
"I do want to point out one thing that has been driving me crazy with the media -- how they keep describing Mitt Romney's position as being pro-gays, and that's going to upset the right wingers," she said. "Well, you know, screw you! I'm not anti-gay. We're against gay marriage. I don't want gays to be discriminated against."
She added, "I don't know why all gays aren't Republican. I think we have the pro-gay positions, which is anti-crime and for tax cuts. Gays make a lot of money and they're victims of crime. No, they are! They should be with us."
Things have changed since Gannon was outed. Somewhere in between a huge percentage of the right has bought into the gay agenda, at least when it comes to how you talk about it (political correctness). Hence, they support Rudy, knowing full well how agressive he has been in promoting the gay agenda. They get the vapors when Annie says "faggot". They have ceased fighting the good fight to keep sex-ed from being co-opted by GLAAD.
Something ain't right.
