Hopefully "evangelicals" and others will be smart enough to figure out it is not Presidents who make the law of the land, or who impose gay marriage, gun controls, and abortion on demand - but the justices and judges they appoint to our courts.
Giuliani has already spoken up for appointing strictly constructionist judges. This is good, if you trust the US Constitution as written by the framers.
I believe aside from prosecuting the war against terror and shepherding us (and our beleagured military) through the appropriate reponse to our next attack (which is overdue), the quality of judicial nomination and successful advocacy - through appointment - by our next executive is a critical point consideration.
JP Stephens and Ruth Bader (at a minimum) will be goners during the next few years. Pick the candidate you trust to replace them.

I intend to do just that. I will not pick Rudy, because I trust the "Constitution as written" but I do not trust Rudy's promises, whether written, spoken, or in sign language. The man has proven many times that he will say whatever he has to to get elected.
Ah, he *said* he's going to. How many times did he say "til death do us part"?
