Who cares if Rudy has been married one thousand times? The question is, would he make the right kind of President this country needs. No.

Um, I'm a libertarian, and I care if he's been married a thousand times. That would show he's got really crappy judgment.

Three times, no big deal. But the fundamental problem I have with Rudy is I don't trust him, because of his marital woes. The guy screwed around before his divorce, and in front of his kids. That's a lame thing to do. If the Clintons were slime because Hillary tolerates Bill's screwing around and Bill screws around, what is different about Giuliani's screwing around? Nothing, so far as I can see. And if he'll screw around on someone he swore before God to love and cherish, he'll have no problems screwing over constituents he doesn't even know (i.e., conservatives).

I guess I'm one of the last people on earth who still thinks character matters. Perhaps multiple marriages doesn't display one's full character, but it is a factor, just like Clinton's sexual harassment history was a legit factor. The rape should have completely disqualified him.

"[A] good moral character is the first essential in a man... and your conduct here may stamp your character through life. It is therefore highly important that you should endeavor not only to be learned but virtuous." --George Washington
