Turning on Hagel would be too obvious for the anti-Rudy crowd. They don't care about national security, domestic or foreign, they only care about abortion and personal relationships. Hagel is bought and paid for by the same Middleeasterners who are associated with Joe Wilson, Alamoudi and Abdurham (sp?). The Muslims even set up and funded Hagel's PAC, Sandhills. They also have funded and directed every trip to the Middle East that Hagel has taken. I don't know what Hagel's motivation is, I don't know whether he is just nuts, or if he is being blackmailed, or if he is truly a traitor. But whatever he is, it's not good.

Some of us still remember Rudy's behavior prior to deciding to run for President when he, like Hagel, popped up at the most inappropriate times to announce his backing for some Democrat, rather than the Republican candidate, so he, too, could bask in the media spotlight and curry favor with the press. Wouldn't surprise me if Rudy would choose him as VP, if nominated, but I guess there is only room for one of their egos on the stage at a time.
