The whole thing was a set-up from the get-go. The prosecutors were determined to convict a member of the Bush admin no matter what the lack of evidence. Libby was the unfortunate fall-guy who committed no crime but will have to pay anyway. To hear that scoundrel Joe Wilson crowing on ABC News Radio after the trial about justice being done is enough to make one gag. If anyone deserves to be sent to the Crossbar Hotel, it's Wilson and his equally culpable wife. When I heard that one of the jury members was an EX-WASHINGTON POST REPORTER!!! for crying out loud, I knew Libby never had a chance. Fitzgerald and the rest of the scurrilous prosecution have no integrity. A sorry episode in American "justice" and for the nation itself.

It would've been easy to get the WaPo reporter off the jury. He used to work for a witness, fgs. Libby's team didn't want him off the jury. You can't blame Fitzgerald or anyone else for that.
