Now the dems could refuse to confirm W's choice, which could lead to some interesting issues.The article is nonsense, of course, but since we're playing the speculation game, if Cheney should decide to resign, he should pull a Sandra Day O'Connor stunt and make his resignation effective only upon the confirmation of his successor. Now THAT would be "interesting". /grin
