.. the President still has the power of the recess appointment ..

I could easily see that being challenged in court. VP is quite different than some federal appeals judge or even a SCOTUS appointment, or so the democrats would argue. It should be a laughable argument, but in this day of rule by liberal judicial fiat, who the heck knows?

Well .. at this point I guess anything is possible.

The dems sure believe they run everything and nobody should even question anything they do. So I guess anything is possible in their book.

I mentioned that earlier.

"The President shall have Power to fill up all Vacancies that may happen during the Recess of the Senate, by granting Commissions which shall expire at the End of their next Session."

I see no reason why this cannot apply to the Vice President, if Bush so chooses.
