During the 2000 election cycle, long before the hateful McCain-Fiengold Bill ( which I am now and have always been against, as you very well know ), it was you who explained why FR, as an entity, couldn't support one candidate during the GOP primary.

Once the primary season is finished, a candidate is chosen, it used to be ( before the hideous McCain-Fiengold became law ) it was okay for FR to espouse and talk about working for the GOP candidate. Will McCain-Fiengold throw a monkey-wrench into this, today? I certainly hope not and I'm not someone who would try to shut FR down using it; but you know that...or should.
