How do you get to the track...
What time do you leave...
How long does the trip take...
How close to the strip do you live...
I'm trying to get a idea how traffic has improved since race 1 and 2.
Was 8 cautions more than normal?

2) Early
3) 30 minutes
4) About 18 miles away. Not far enough.
Lol
Just being a SA, working on the video's right now. 4) is true. Will get back to ya on 1), 2) and 3), ok?

I live in the northwest part of town so I use the I-215 loop (recent addition, goes around the west side of the valley) to get to I-15 north, from there it's only 2 miles to the track. About 25 minutes driving time.
We left the house early all three days, on the road by 6:00am. On Sunday, we watched sunrise from the parking lot.
The longest it took me to get home was on Sunday - 1 hour and 20 minutes. Not too bad for a crowd that size. Traffic control has improved a lot since the days of those first couple races. I remember seeing the TV coverage of the mess.
Not sure about the cautions, seems like it was 6 or 7 last year.
