You need to review this line and your comment on it. It is a non-sequitur.
Her age and your age are insignificant to the point. It is true that "faggot" is a word casually and regularly tossed about by youth in ways that your other hyphenated words are not. That was my point, and it remains.
Believe me. I've heard those hyphenated words tossed about as casually and regularly. They're offensive - but tossed about casually.
It's not even close to debatable that "faggot" isn't offensive. Webster's identifies it as a "contemptuous word" that is "usually disparaging."
