told detectives Nowak "seemed a little disappointed" but accepting when he told her he was dating another woman

Just like Mount St. Helens before it erupted.

"Nowak "seemed a little disappointed"

Yet again, another man fails to understand women.

"Who's that floating out there in space, banging on the shuttle door?"
"It's Mr. Roper! Quick, act gay!"

Considering both Nowak and Oefelein are naval officers, couldn't they both be indicted for adultry if they had an affair since Nowak is still married?

They were "romantically involved since 2004" and he thought she was just a "little disappointed" when he told her that he was seeing someone else???
What planet is this astronaut on??

"First urge will be to rip your clothes off," Shipman wrote to Oefelein.

Yeek. No accounting for taste.

It's a minor point but i think she's a mission specialist, not a pilot.

She has to take responsibility for her actions, but this guy's definitely a first class creep. In another post it came out that while he was banging his new gal he was still "dating" Nowak but lying about it.

"Seemed a little disappointed?" That's the signal to check her hands for weapons, imo.

The Anna Nicole story was less pathetic and less sleazy than this one. She is a non story.

I wonder what effect this scandal will have on Oefelein's career. I also wonder if he was already divorced when he started the affair with Nowak. I hear that he is a super nice guy, but it sure doesn't sound like it from these articles.

“The space shuttle pilot at the center of a bizarre love triangle that now has astronaut Lisa Nowak facing attempted kidnapping charges told detectives Nowak “seemed a little disappointed” but accepting when he told her he was dating another woman, court records released Tuesday show. “

all this does is show what a clueless dimwit this guy is.
He knew she left her marriage and children for him.
What did he expect?

He actually told the new girlfriend Lisa was “happy” for him.

wishful thinking on his part.

Yep...Spacy...well it all Depends.

Astornuts.

Funny name, Nowak. Should be O’ Wak, or Go Wak, or just Wacked.

Man, this has been months of fun.
