Slightly different scenario:

Between one hundred and one hundred and fifty ground hugging cruise missiles are launched to coincide with numerous stealth aircraft all bent on the sole goal of obliterating this infrastructure followed closely by about half the US Air Force coming in for the real job of shooting fish in a barrel supported by heavy naval gunfire on all remaining Iranian coastal targets of interest.

Also, I would just love to see the Iranian submarine fleet introduced to our fast attack boats. Beer and popcorn would be in order.

This is the perception of the Iranian leadership that I find most disturbing. Yes, we would obviously erase Iran from the face of the planet if they ever attacked us with nuclear weapons. The problem that I have is that this does not seem to be a deterrent to their current leadership.
