I just finished Lewis' "Crisis of Islam."

It mentions the Quranic doctrine that suicide is a definite wrong. Apparently, the perpetrator will be tormented for eternity in hell by whatever means they used to kill themselves.

I had a funny thought when I read that part.

All of these suicide/homicide bombers who are expecting 72 virgins will actually find an eternity of being approached for pleasure by a comely young virgin and just as they get near, the perpetrator will detonate himself. This will happen for eternity.

Talk about the ultimate tease.
