Hope they called in airstrikes.
That's why you don't put terrorists in jail/prison to begin with.
After all of these, years the "look at all the good news in Iraq, which is ignored by the media," mantra is wearing thin. I don't think even Bush believes it anymore.
Of course, some of us have been here long enough to remember predictions that Iraq would be a beacon of liberty and democracy that would quickly lead the "other dominoes to fall," that the Iraqi war would "pay for itself" via oil, that the Shi'ites and Sunnis would cooperate as democratic secularists (the Iraqis elected Shi'ite fundamentalists instead), that the insurgents were just a few dead ender Saddamists taking ineffective potshots who would lose faith when their leader died or was executed, etc.
Oh....I forgot the prediction that Iraq would become a missionary opportunity. Instead, the reverse has happened and the Christian population is being cleansed by our Shi'ite allies such as Al-Hakim and the Badr Brigade.
Ditto that. This situation tailor made for the phrase "take no prisoners".
THe Moussad knew how to deal with terrorist prisoners.
Qaeda-led militants storm Iraq jail, free 140...

What Is Happening in Iraq Will End in the Defeat of Terrorism
