If the allegations are correct, then there has been serious misconduct in what has occurred in the terminations of these United States attorneys, Sen. Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania said. How is it that 'ol Arlen always seems to smell misconduct when Republicans are involved, and then always talks glowingly about his friend, Ted Kennedy, or whomever, and always seems to minimize or outright dismiss any allegation against Democrats? How is this?

"Sen. Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania"
The same Arlen Specter who was the attorney who represented and got out on bail the man killed his girlfriend and stuffed her body in a trunk. The man left the country and was not seen until a few years back when he was caught and returned to face trial again in the US. His name slips my mind right now. I can remember the details but not the name. I'm sure someone out there knows who I'm talking about.
