- he's toast because he's now being dropped by the MSM.

Exactly ... he had his fifteen minutes with the liberal MSM and now it's over. He shouldn't be surprised.

Hiya, Phil. I expect that if McPain's poll numbers keep dropping, he'll transition from the Queen of Hearts to Captain Queeg.

He is, I'm sure, because someone who has no principles can't see motive in others.

He was really a rat with Kerry running the committee to bury the POW-MIA issue--on the heels of deserting his injured first wife.

Then he got caught red-handed taking Charles Keating's Washingtons.

His crime against the First Amendment with Russ Feingold is something Stalin and Company were unable to effect in seventy years of trying.

But the real outrage to me was his tireless advocacy of terrorist rights--at the expense of our morale and for the aid and comfort of our enemy.

His only recourse now is to hit the scuttle valve--if he'd just go down with the ship. . . .

The Caine Mutiny--what a strange read, and very apt of for the Senator from Manchuria.

That was truly an outrage. By pushing his bill he convinced the country that the Army was torturing prisoners and needed to be restrained when the truth was torture (and abuse and humiliation) were already prohibited by Army (and Navy and Air Force) regulations. He even modeled his Army-bashing bill on the Army's own regulation! And all this when torture was already a Federal felony! What a scum-bag.

And he knew what torture was. He was beaten, had bones broken.

And what did the poor widdew babies at abu Ghraib endure.

Less than my college fraternity pledge class during hell week.

And he wouldn't shut up.

And what's at stake: the nation's survival in the face of the seventh-century death cult's onslaught abetted by the fifth-column media and the quisling peace democrats.

You are quite right to point out perhaps his greatest outrage--to betray his comrades in uniform.

That is likely the basement of crime.

There's a long black train comin' down the line,
Feeding off the souls that are lost and cryin'.
Rails of sin, only evil remains.
Watch out, brother, for that long black train.
Look to the heaven's, you can look to the sky.
You can find redemption staring back into your eyes.
There is protection and there's peace the same:
Burnin' your ticket for that long black train.

What happened at Abu Graib was not torture. The MP's there did not even interrogate prisoners. It was a poorly trained, poorly led and poorly supervised group of renegades who abused and humiliated prisoners for their own entertainment. And for that they were tried, convicted and imprisoned under the regulations in place before McStain introduced any legislation.

I'm inclined to one of three explanations why he did it. One is he is suffering from PTSD and pushed his bill to exorcise some demons. Two is he was playing an inside game to stop the CIA from waterboarding, knowing full well it isn't torture so the only way he could get at it would be by forcing CIA to adopt the DOD regulations. Three is both. Regardless, he slimed the reputation of the uniformed services in the process.

Our friend the colonel said his "killers" would bend the gook backwards over the log and pour the helmet of water down the nose producing prompt intelligence.

I say this is war not a teaparty for teddy bears and the likes of John McCain should stand back, stand down, stand aside or be escorted to the Yuri I. Nosenko Memorial Suite for the duration a la Lincoln's handling of peace democrats.

Yes, John McCain is a psychopath. David Condon's Manchurian Candidate (1959) and the Sinatra film (1961) indicate the unstable are manipulated for the enemy's purpose using the individual's weakness.

McCain has a panoply of weakness and is in an influential position.

Campaign finance reform and terrorist rights are two more facets of the stalinist mirror ball including multiculturalism, politically correct speech, hate crimes, tolerance, climate change et cetera.

Madeleine Albright spoke for Russia and China in lamenting the U.S. as the lone superpower.

How long can that last with the likes of the Murthas and McCains.

It has to be a continuous purification process, refining this waste out of the system.

McCain has been identified and has no sanctuary.

The guy is a big government liberal but for some reason thinks he's a Republican.

As far left as the GOP has marched in the last 20 years, it's not surprising at all that he thinks the shoe still fits. The distinction between liberals and the GOP really is coming down to something like this:

"The GOP; liberals without the smell."

It's wholly disgusting.

McCain should have taken this into consideration when he was stabbing Conservatives in the back over the last years in the Senate. What did he think, the media was going to be on his side? Can you say dumba.. Don't worry, you can come back after the next election as the main media foil for your own party.

Bye Bye McPain, we hardly knew you.
