Folks, listen closely: American justice is dead, and this proves it. The courts are no longer a place of honor and justice that can be trusted to make right choices. The courts are a tool of the tyrannical governing elite, useful for pursuing personal vendettas. That makes the court an institution that poses a threat to our freedoms. We should not forget that.
I think you are correct, in that I think this was a runaway jury. A not to bright, but ideologically motivated jury, actively led to the verdict by a self aggrandizing WaPro reporter, convicted someone who might have very well been guilty, but convicted him because they wanted to "get" Cheney.
The jury comments after the trial are just bizarre.
