I find it highly unlikely that his high priced lawyers would have lost the case if he was actually innocent.

Given the jurors' question to the judge on Day 10...it appears they were confused and unclear as to what charges Libby was even facing! One could argue that some of those high priced lawyers didn't do their job if the jurors were still so confused. Who knows what faulty thinking led to the guilty verdicts on the other counts as well. Grounds for new trial? Maybe.

This is DC jury. These people got on the jury to convict. They were not confused about that. No matter how much you pay defense lawyers, it's not going to change that fact.

This was all about "vindicating" and "justifying" Fitz's witch hunt. The WaPo reporter on the jury pretty much said that. "WHERE WAS ROVE, WHERE WERE THE OTHERS...? "
