the whole thing was a setup from the start - from her promotion of Wilson for the Niger mission to discredit the uranium claim, all the way to today.
and what is most amazing, is that the administration didn't come to grips with this politically at any step along the way. now I understand why Fleischer resigned, he could see this coming, knew the administration wouldn't fight any of it, so he just wanted to get out of the way before he ended up in jail himself - like Libby.
Odd how not a single soul said "Joe told me" until it was pointed out that no one had come forward and said so, and then only a couple of fringe commentators said so. If Joe told everyone in Washington, how come Novak didn't know? Or Woodward?
