Thanks....I didnt hear a thing. I still think it's out of character for her....I'm not sure this is real. It sounds like she did it to be weird (happened a few times) or just going through some bad withdrawals. I don't see her as a totally flipped out person in that way. Just lost.

Sorry, but that is nuts.

People with Oefelein's training are not just dime-a-dozen and replaceable at a moment's notice. Also, no one on this web site understands just what constitutes 'affair' within the confines of the NASA community.

Where has it been stated categorically that Bill bopped Diaper-woman, rather than have a close relationship?

NASA is not about to toss out Oefelein's training and experience, even if he indeed did do the happy-dance with a crewmate.

He actually is quite replaceable. NASA has far more astronauts than it needs or who will ever pilot or fly aboard the shuttle, and competition is fierce among them to get space missions. Do you think there is not a waiting list a mile long of top-notch military pilots to join the shuttle program? Of course there is.
