RUDY: SHE'S NO EVIL STEPMOM; DEFENDS JUDI FROM HIS SON'S PARENT RAP (Judi's bitter divorce saga)
NY POST ^ | March 6, 2007 | GEOFF EARLE with Maggie Haberman

Posted on 03/06/2007 3:27:51 AM PST by Liz

Rudy Giuliani vigorously defended his wife, Judith, as the perfect stepmom just days after his son, Andrew, revealed he doesn't get along with her. "My wife, Judith, is a loving and caring mother and stepmother," Giuliani told reporters after a meeting with Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and county sheriffs.....he stood foursquare behind his wife, whose highly public relationship with Giuliani began while he was still married to the mother of his two kids.

Andrew Giuliani bluntly disclosed.... "There's obviously a little problem that exists between me and his wife." Sources familiar with the difficult relationship between the Giuliani kids and their stepmom said it started deteriorating before the couple married June 2003, but went south quickly after the wedding.

Giuliani's kids had hoped to carve out time to spend with their dad alone as things got worse, but he opted against it, the sources said.

At the same time, Rudy was involved in the life of Judith's daughter, Whitney, and even spoke at her graduation from York Preparatory school in May 2004. Sources say Giuliani has not visited Andrew at Duke, and that his relations with Caroline also are strained....even worse than with his son. Before she wed Giuliani, Judith went through a bitter court fight with Bruce Nathan over who would have custody of their daughter. Her ex-husband filed court papers in 2001 that said his daughter ran away from her mother when she was 16 and voluntarily moved in with him during the time when her mother was regularly at Giuliani's side in public while he was trying to get a divorce from Hanover.

Rudy had zero use for the unions. And that included the police and fire unions. When the sanitation workers tried to roll him for a big raise he told them.......fine.....I'll just privatize the sanitation dept. and that was the end of their thinking they could push Rudy around.

Times have changed, like or not. Many families have broken up.

Yeah, and lotsa people have abortions, so let's make that a sacrament.

OOPS, I forgot: that's what Rudy and his friends at NARAL are planning!

Just watching Hanover over the years you could see she was totally not interested in marriage or motherhood. Too busy hanging with the artsy crowd. Eventually acting in Vagina Monologues while the children were in Catholic School.

Never mind that Andrew was Rudy's best man at his wedding to Judith Nathan.

One of the most disgusting aspects of the whole sordid affair. Drag your family through the dirt and then rub their noses in it, all for the sake of a little favorable press. If your boy were just honest enough to change his party registration back to Democrat, everybody here would be condemning him.

My dad worked in NYC for 40 years, my brother just retired from NYPD. My brother worked under Rudy. It's funny, when all of the press came out about Rudy cleaning up the city, I did mention it to my brother. He said don't believe everything you read. Neither can stand him and will not be voting for him. My dad calls him a gungrabbin, illegal lovin bastard. Oh well.

Most of us in flyover country know nothing about Rudy. So I will be watching yours and some others posts to get the real understanding of him.

Your Father reminds me of mine. My parents lived in Arkansas during the Clinton reign and every 2 years Clinton was running for Gov. Years ago my father would say that Clinton was nothing but a "whooooremonger". I laugh ever time I think about that.

She had an affair with Vince Foster,or so it is reported ,but Chelsea favors Web Hubbell.

I feel sure Hillary had more than one affair and with more than one Gender.

........ we are flooded with illegals and sick to death of it. Right now our state is getting ready to enact some of the toughest legislation in the nation regarding it. Rudy allowed NYC to be a sancturary city for illegals, how will he explain that? ........

Here's the latest version of Rudy's sanctuary city. Voters should ask Rudeo if he plans to suckup to hyphenated voting blocs by establishing "new sanctuary cities" across America.

Illegal immigrants "rights" groups are pushing for "sanctuary" cities. Hispanics and Latinos laid out plans for new 'sanctuary' municipalities, in places which now prohibit the denial of public services--such as access to emergency medical care or schools--and where police officers would be blocked from asking about a person's immigration status unless investigating illegal activity other than mere status as being undocumented.

Police officers would also not be able to inquire about immigration status of crime victims or witnesses to "protect everyone in the community, not just immigrants;" this would "permit witnesses to come forward unafraid of what would happen to them."

Keeping in mind that the unions in NYC hated Rudy.

Keeping in mind that despite the firefighters and police officers boo-ing hitlery at the post 9/11 concert.....they voted for her in large numbers because she promised them money.

Yes Rudy picked Donna Hanover and never once did he criticize her to the media. Never once, not even to defend himself. Those of us who got to see her in action knew whe was a b*tchy gal.

She used a complicit media to lie thru her teeth. The media ate it all up. They hated him. Still do.

I know many police and fireman and I know of no one who voted for Hillary. Believe what the press tells you if you choose. My dad was union and has never voted for a Dem in his is life. Nor has my brother for that matter. By the way my dad votes in every election, even if its for the dog catcher. My dad's dislike for Rudy stems from his stance on guns and the fact that he made NYC a sanctuary city for illegals. Rudy states that was the best way to handle the 300,000 plus that were living in the city. What is he going to do with the 15-20 million living in the whole country? Amnesty?

"If the shoe fits, wear it!"

It doesn't fit, G-lib.

Does the pro-choice, pro-sanctuary city, gun-grabbing philanderer shoe fit you? If so, why are you here? To think you accuse Rudy-bashers of "rank hypocrisy".
