Let's not be like the Democrats with an image that is forever held over potential leaders... Both parties have their images out there ... Kennedy and Reagan. Nothing wrong with that. We should always hold up Reagan to compare our leaders to until someone better than Reagan comes along and then we compare them to that.
While I am not in the camp of totally trashing Guiliani our party is in trouble in that we do not one serious candidate we can all rally around that doesn't have serious baggage. We can certainly do better than the crop we have - and we can certainly do much better than electing a mayor as President.

I'll ignore the 'we' and continue - if you have a problem with 'a mayor' being president - guess what, don't vote for him - but more importantly - don't trash him.
