[Boulder greenies to go backpacking in.]

I went home over last summer and found large portions of the rock walls I used to frequent in Eldorado Canyon over 20 years ago are now mostly closed to climbing.  They were closed due to "Environmental concerns" related to birds that nest on the rock walls.

I don't know what their problem is with Helicopter training at high altitude - especially this time of year.   Spring is still months away above the timber line and everything is still covered with snow.

You're right about the people's republic of Boulder though.  They'll do anything they can do to monkey-wrench the military.

In the greenies' world, animals run free everywhere, while people are corralled.
