A military correspondent for Russia's top business daily has died after falling out of a window, and some media alleged Monday that he might have been killed for his critical reporting.
Ivan Safronov, the military affairs writer for Kommersant, died Friday after falling from a fifth-story window in the stairwell of his apartment building in Moscow, officials said. His body was found by neighbors shortly after the fall.
With prosecutors investigating the death, Kommersant and some other media suggested foul play.

An autopsy has revealed that the reporter was not injured by the fall. However, the sudden stop at the end proved to be fatal.

There are people other than Putin who may be interested in this sort of activity.
Suppose one nation wanted the US to break ties with Russia?
Suppose an entity had been involved with a Russian smuggling group?
Suppose someone whose motives we don't trust is running an op to make Russia look bad? Chavez, Castro, Kim il Jong, Steve Harper (just kidding)?

It would be an interesting experiment to lock Putin and BillyJeff in a room and see which one came out.My money's on Putin.
OTOH, it would be a more even match with Hillary!

You're probably right. In any case, whichever came out, the world would still be one to the good.

Mrs. Bill Clinton would make Putin jealous. Mrs. Bill Clinton is dangerous. Mrs. Bill Clinton is a Marxist. Mrs Bill Clinton needs Mr. Bill Clinton. According to Rush.

Putin basically is starting to resemble Al Capone, how long before we see a Russian version of the St. Valentines Day massacre?

"Defenestration" is an old method of political murder/assassination in Eastern Europe and Russia. At least two leaders of Czechoslovakia were eliminated that way when the Iron Curtain descended.

Perhaps it was the KGB who "nobbled" John John Kennedy so that Mrs. Bill Clinton could become Senator........
