My previous post notwithstanding, there's nothing run of the mill about Rudy. You had to visit NYC in the late 80's, early 90's to know the kind of transformation he wrought.
I did visit family and friends in NYCity before, during and after Rudy`s time as Mayor. Good job. That doesn't make Rudy a fiscal conservative.
New York City is about as representative of the rest of country as San Francisco is...which is to say not at all. So personally, what he did for NYC is not as important to me as his stance on the 2nd amendment. He will not get my vote and will probably not get the vote of any gun owner I speak with...The 2nd Amendment is not as much a social conservative cause as it is a Constitutional conservative cause.
