She made her comment about John Edwards at the wrong place and the timing was as bad as it gets.
I'm sure everyone wanting to back Ann Coulter regardless of what she said also want to ignore her calling for the impeachment of President Bush (three times) on the Mike Rosen show here in Denver. Mike also gave her multiple opportunities to take back her words that the US military should hunt down and kill john murtha, a member of Congress. She said no, that she was glad the word was getting out and stood proudly by those comments.

Like 'Kristinn', Michelle Malkin was there at CPAC and I agree 100% with what she wrote about what happened.

Excerpt from Michelle -
I think all the fellow conservatives I met at CPAC will agree that keeping a Democrat out of the White House in 2008 is a goal we will unite behind.
It seems to me that those Democrats would like nothing better than for another Coulter Moment at the pivotal CPAC event in 2008. "Raghead" in 2006. "Faggot" in 2007. What diarrhea of the mouth at the premiere conservative gathering can we all look forward to in a crucial election year with so much at stake in a critical period of American history?
CPAC organizers and co-sponsors ought to think very carefully about the message they want to send next year--and the pivotal role they want to play in the 2008 campaign.

There isn't the slightess doubt in my mind that if Ronald Reagan heard that comment he would condemn it in a heartbeat. Coulter's comment is 180 degrees in the opposite direction of being anywhere near Reaganesque.
(Yep Kristinn, it's me Tony, the person who talked to you about getting out the word for the caravan and huge pro-troop rally a week from this Saturday in DC)

With all due respect to Michelle Malkin, the primaries have not even begun. Its a little early to focus on who to keep out - its the right time to figure out who can best represent conservative interests and then get behind them.

Don't you ever stop?
How are you going to break the world mile record (at 45) if you keep these kind of hours?
How are you going to make the Olymic Team (at 47) if you keep this up?
(I'm not kidding folks. These are just some of this poster's preposterous claims. Check out his posting history and his 24/7 jihad against Coulter.)
