Palestine is a politically-unrecognised region of the Middle East that includes Israel.

Nope, no Bias there. LOL.

You might study a bit of history on the subject. The British mandate in the middle east consisted of Palestine (a currently politically unrecognized region of the ME that includes Israel - and Gaza and the West Bank) and the Trans Jordan (which includes the present state of Jordan).

Where is the bias or inaccuracy in the original statement?

Like it or not, 'Palestine' IS politically recognized by a large number of states. Similarly, Israel is also 'politically-unrecognized' by a number of countries. We might not agree with it, but that doesn't change the facts. Ignoring the world doesn't change it.
