It's about time some jarheads put a stop to these squirmy little pop weavils. They should have busted up their camera and perhaps a few of their teeth as well.

Some stuff you would find hard to believe - except from FR and other sources we know this stuff pretty well

I know. I spend all my time making graphics and not reading enough but after 6 years here I have seen most things covered except for current events.

The two AP freelancers arrived at the site about a half hour after the suicide bombing, Gul said. Amazing that with the # of car bombs and IED's that the reporters always show up after the fact. Never caught in the act "photos".

With the guys the AP uses, I'd say it's hard to plant IEDs and take pictures at the same time.

.."and the nice man with the gun says so." Roger that!
Back in the day, using a gifted interpreter -- we found it unnecessary to repeat a "suggestion" to the locals --- be they friendly or otherwise..
Quiet voice, Eye contact and muzzle forward but lowered ---- usually did the trick....
When being the "good guy" failed --- raise the muzzle.
