Newt has a far WORSE personal baggage ( wives and divorce record ) than Rudy has. He also has a 63% negative rating, from the American populace; which is lower than Hillary's.

Newt is a GRENNIE.....a tree hugger, repeatedly caved, to Clinton, when Speaker, has spent the last year traveling around with Hillary, helping her push her health care plans, and he is quite taken with Alvin Toffler's crazy books/ideas.

Newt has said that if Rudy is doing well, he won't enter the primaries. If Newt was REALLY serious about making a run for the presidency, he would not say, as he did, that he wouldn't even begin to think about it, until next September, which he now has changed to October. By next October, all of the big money and political backing, as well as the best of the lot, for teams, will have long been already swept up. And unlike you, Newt is well aware of all of this.

Also, a lot of people are using a candidate's conservative credentials as a basis for their support.

I'm basing my decision on a candidates resume - his job history, record of accomplishments and so on. And in my opinion, Rudy Giuliani has the best resume.

I suppose the next best resume is Romney's. He too has had experience actually running an organization - like the state government of Massachusetts. Plus he served as the CEO and organizer of the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.

Most of the other pubbies are just legislators without any experience as a CEO. That's required to be president. Governors, retired generals and yes, mayors all have that experience in common.
