IMHO: MCCaine is better than Rudy. Romney is better than McCaine. Hunter, Newt, Gilmore, Thompson, et al are better than Romney. This is the primary. There is absolutely no reason whatsoever to be promoting a liberal (yes, abortion, gay rights, gun control, illegal alien pandering, etc, are liberal positions and he is a liberal).

And no, I will not be voting for or supporting a liberal!

I have a bigger problem with McCain than with Rudy. Rudy is at least predictable. McCain is our homegrown version of Achmed Ahmanutjob. He'd get my vote over Hillary just because I couldn't be sure he'd be aligned with Satan 100% of the time.

I hope this is just early theatrics at this forum. Perhaps one of the other candidates you mention will emerge in a big way, or someone new will arrive on the scene.

It would be nice if there was a candidate this forum could largely support. Right now it's marginal support for marginal candidates and loud support for NOT RUDY. That's not a gameplan.

But it does make it noisy and uncomfortable here.
