The fact that he may not agree with you on all issues does not contradict the statement. A principled conservative is one who does not 'shift in the wind'. He fits that bill.
And he is a conservative.

Where to people keep getting the idea that Rudy is a conservative? Balancing a checkbook and enforcing, and obeying the law (which Rudy didn't IIRC) does not a conservative make. Liberal or conservative, it just means you did your job.
After defining "moderate" and "mainstream" leftward, are they trying to define "conservative" leftward, too?
