Have you ever seen the movie SOUTH PACIFIC, or read the Mitchner book that the original stage play was based on, which the movie was then made from? In that book, a sailor DRESSES UP AS A WOMAN, in the same way Rudy did, FOR A SKIT ( except Rudy did it for CHAIRTY! ), on a South Pacific island and that character was neither a "cross dresser, nor a homosexual.
James Mitchner based the novel on FACTS and was written about things that happened in the 1940s.
"HAIRY LEG SHOWS" have a long history in America, from colonial times to the present. Men and boys have taken part in them who are not and never were "cross dressers", in order to raise money.
Now, I realize that you imagine that this is going to somehow destroy Rudy's political aspirations, but the truth of the matter is, the more you and your ilk post the pictures/post about this, completely out of context, makes you look like a bunch of very desperate, silly, ultra provincial, uneducated Know Nothings.
