How long have we had armed forces in Japan and Okinawa ?

How long have we had troops in South Korea ?

We need to be in Iraq for a long, long time.

This pullout now stuff is nonsense, and NOT in the best interest of the USA. It is good for the Iraqis to take over, but not until they are ready.

I agree with everything both of you said. I would also like to add that MSM in a concerted effort has left out all the good news coming out of Iraq.

The map was stunning; the pictures of Iraqis enjoying their lives in Iraq was heartwarming.

These are the very people that the terrorists take pleasure in blowing up.

I still believe we made the right choice in overthrowing Saddam (and his sons) and putting an end to his regime.

My only dissatisfaction with the war is that we should have been more ruthless early on in dealing with the Sunnis in Falujah and Al Sadr and his militia.
