Having seen him as mayor (although I don't live in NYC) I saw him reduce taxes, reform education, and reduce the welfare roles.

Do you have any links or resources I can search and learn more about how he plans to translate a local success to the national level?

Actually you don't have to go far...there is lots of infromation right here on FR, I am sure if you do a search many articles will come up.
