Listen, the guy is running as a HUGE pro-lifer, yet this vote, probably one of THE most important pro-lifes because of the critical nature of the situation, wasn't enough motivation for him to cast a vote. Unless he was in the hospital I find the no vote inexcusable. Sorry if that offends you.

Look, the GOP leadership was calling up lawmakers to come, in order to form a quorum. Apparantly, Hunter wasn't called up. Merely not showing up to vote out of your own volition doesn't mean anything. It was widely known that this was going to pass, the only question was whether it was going to pass by unanimous consent or by a recorded vote. As you can see here, this was the only vote between 17 March and 5 April. I see no reason for Hunter to interrupt his holiday when he wasn't even called up. I don't find the criticism offensive, I find the image offensive - especially the blatantly emotional nature of it.
