The reason I site the FR poll is because, people at FR tend to be better informed, more active and more likely to contribute financially then the average 'likely to vote' crowd.
With so much time before the primaries, I'd much rather be the conservative darkhorse candidate with a lot of passionate supporters, like the ones you're finding here at FreeRepublic, than a liberal/moderate who has been endorsed by the MSM and has the early lead in the national polls.
There is lots of time before the primaries and anything can happen. Now, is the time for discussion of the candidates, all of them. I don't think any should be discounted.
