We shall see. But if you do not think you need conservatives anymore then you will not mind us leaving.

Although I doubt he will ever toss his hat in the ring, the person I would love to vote for for President is Fred Dalton Thompson. That is someone I can trust. Fred is someone with whom I can identify and someone I deeply admire. Rudy is not even in the running when it comes to my trust. I am anti-gay, anti-abortion and damn sure anti-gun grabbing, three things RINO Rudy stands behind. He's a non-issue as far as I'm concerned.

pro-gay, pro-abortion, way left of center gun grabber

You'd better go listen to Giuliani's CPAC speech instead of propagating you "found knowledge".

For example, he clearly stated that marriage is "between one man and one woman", though he supported civil unions.

You're also incorrect about his other positions, but I'm not doing your homework for you.

What I want in the White House it a person I can trust on all issues, and Rudy fits that criteria for me.

I'm not looking to start a personal war here. I'm trying to understand the fervor for Rudy.

You state that you trust Rudy on "all issues". What issues might those be?

I'm an undecided at this point, so my question is a serious one, and I'm looking forward to a thoughtful answer from you.

Thanks.

If he wins the primarys and if he wins the election Giuliani's cabinet would probably have many democrats in it(like in NYC as Gov).. which means liberals of all types..

But since George Bush has fractured the republican party(immigration) he(giuliani) will get Hitlery elected.. Cause what Bush did to the party, dividing it, dwarfs what Giuliani would do to it..

Hey, wasn't even Ronald Reagan married twice?

Why yes he was.

But the anti-Giuliani zealots have a conventient myth they've constructed which breathtaking in it's arrogance.

IIRC, it's something like his first weife cheated on him, and he was crestfallen and really hurt and gee gosh he couldn;t stop crying for months he was so upset.

So you see, it wasn't his fault.

He was a victim and hence excused. His marriage has been conveniently annulled by the arrogant anti-Giuliani zealots on FR.

You can, by hating abortion while not favoring the prohibition thereof. Did you miss my point about caviar?

"Many conservatives have no problem with supporting Rudy."

LOL. You haven't been paying attention:

Heck, most Conservatives prefer Newt, with all his flaws over Rudy.

You cannot have it both ways.

That's a foolish and ignorant statement.

If a woman has an ectopic pregnancy, both she and the fetus (baby) are certain to die.

I want her to be able to go to the hospital for treatment (abortion) and to live to have another child.
