OK, Rodguy911. I didn't want to go here, but I knew it was a possibility when I started down this road...
Now don't take this wrong, and don't anyone left off of this ping take this wrong, but....
I love you, man! (or woman, as the case may be)
Quite seriously, you are all very important to me.
Tonight I happened to see some of Fox news channels 7pm news, and they said "Walter Reed Hospital" many times, intending their viewers to believe that it is the entire campus and activity. All of the DBM, which includes Fox, sensationalize anything that will reflect badly on America's military forces - just as Abu Ghraib was the indecent and illegal behavior of a few perverted national guard troops, but spoken of forever as if every soldier stationed there was a participant - and was instructed by Senior Staff to commit the acts that they photographed.
Honest reporters could have told Americans and the world the truth at any time and they still can! But they won't because they do not want to do so!
Ditto to each and every one of you.
Dang, P.....I love you too!!
You are one of my FAVE Freepers!!!
No, really!
Gosh, Peach...It is so good to see you!!
I have missed seeing you all over FR....I hope all is going well for you.
Hi, Txsleuth. I've missed you too. I guess I have to get out more. LOL
I've been on FR but on a candidate's threads and I'll branch out more as time goes on. Just stuck around as often as I did to make sure some of the screamers didn't run off lurkers and good freepers.
It's warming up here and feels like spring. Finally. Hope you've been healthy and doing good too, Txsleuth.
LOL...I have been staying off the candidate threads...the spammers ran me off.
Seriesly...I am not backing any candidate yet...so I just read what I can about the candidates...but, I am not in the position to argue for/against any of them yet.
This is the first time I have heard it described so. Is it even on the grounds of the hospital, or just nearby?
I don't blame you a bit. The spammer are pretty always the same 5-6 freepers and the old rule of "no spam" has gone out the window. The forum is the worse for it.
I'd better scoot; see you tomorrow, I hope.
It is across Georgia Avenue - not on the grounds known as Walter Reed.
Butting in here to spread some of my love for all of you and my thans for the delightful time spent here w/all of you GOOD freepers.
thans = thanks....you know. LOL
You guys are too much.... We will be called the Sunday Talk Show thread MAS (Mutual Admiration Society) from now on. The support, real affection, ideas, and interaction we give each other on this thread every week with a sense of humor thrown in is unbelievably poignant at times. Let's win this War in America against the DBM. Together we can do it.

Sometimes the bondo cracks!
Although I agree with your sentiments, we already have a name, proffered on us by our fearless leader, Alas Babylon!. We are the Jedi Council of the FreeRepublic.
Each and every one of us.
I'd like to think of myself as Yoda or Mace Windu, but I think I'm the guy with the pointy head.
You know this from first hand experience. Has this fact been mentioned at all when any Army persons have given press interviews?
Ok, we won't change the name but we will all know what it really is. LOL!
I have seen it mentioned on TV by a reporter as "across a six lane road" but I have not seen any Army persons giving any press interviews.
