How much do we have to know that islam is evil. Do we have to know every detail of the enemy's way of life? Do we need to know all the idealogies completely?

We know it's evil. And those that know it aren't going to learn by this stuff. And those that don't know it won't either.

I think we need to know it and that the more it is repeated the better.

To simply say that we know it is evil will not accomplish anything with those who are either the believers or the targets. It is too easy in todays society to label such a statement as hate speech, dismiss the contents and persecute the speakers.

Within days of 9/11/01, there were US Leftists out on all email lists/forums attacking anyone who mentioned the Koran, used the term Islamists or made any reference to Islam. On one list I was on, where I was the one sharing my research on the matter, my back channel email was supportive, the list owner was supportive, but only one other member was willing to publicly agree. Today, it is common knowledge that Islam, the Koran and the Islamists are what they are. It took 5 years to get to this point of general acceptance and knowledge such that we can have TV specials on Islam that are truthful. Even so, the usual progressives still attempt to spin, to isolate anyone telling the truth and to attempt a consensus about peaceful and moderate Islam.

We need to know the Shia Twelvers beliefs, as they are the animating force behind Iran. Knowing the details allows us to dissect the speeches of Ahmadnejad (sp) and to understand the Shia who are being directed by Iran, via these beliefs.

Back in the 1930s, everyone wanted to believe that Hitler was simply after power and territory and that it was only of concern to the neighbors of Germany who had ethnic Germans within their borders. Since they lacked the Internet and TV and even radio that spoke against prevailing views, it probably wouldn't have changed history if Hitler's animating ideologies against Jews and non-Aryans had been known.

Today, we have instant communication and it is not yet in the hands of a central controlling force. The more people understand Mahdi-ism, the more they can be prepared to understand the basis for Iranian aggression.

This information needs to become common knowledge, IMO, just as basic Koranic information already has.
