The difference is that Rudy and Romney actually have a chance of winning. Just because you agree with one guy more than the other doesn't mean that guy would make a great President. Congressmen and former House Speakers don't get into the Oval Office. Normally niether do Mayors but because of the times Rudy is different. Governors become President. For that you have Romney (who could most likely get it) or Huckabee (who is really running for VP). After his performance at the CPAC Brownback has nowhere to go but down, so he's done.

Yeah, well if it's a popularity contest we are talking about, you are right. If you are happy with a liberal candidate, or a flip-flopper, then you are supporting the right guys. It's way too early to even say who is going to be most popular at this juncture. Remember when Howard Dean was ahead of the pack back when he was trying to get nominated? Who's to say it won't happen to Rudy, then what are you gonna do, jump to the next popular guy?

Romney has trouble with his vacillating record on critiacl socail issues - not once, but several times.

Giuliani will face Democratic propaganda about his political voews which will not resonate with America's heartland. His past will come back to haunt him - and us if he is nominated.
