Now as I reflect on it, wasn't it Senator Kerry who raised Mary Cheney in a debate with W? I'm quite sure of it - Edwards would scarcely have dared make such a reference in a debate with Dick Cheney!

It was the nasty Elizabeth Edwards who turned into an absolute B#tch over the subject when Mrs Cheney requested that her children be left out of the political debate.

"In the vice presidential debate last week, Democratic Sen. John Edwards also brought up the vice president's daughter.

"I think the vice president and his wife love their daughter. I think they love her very much. And you can't have anything but respect for the fact that they're willing to talk about the fact that they have a gay daughter, the fact that they embrace her. It's a wonderful thing," Edwards said.

Asked his response to Edwards' remarks on that, Cheney answered only by saying: "Let me simply thank the senator for the kind words he said about my family and our daughter. I appreciate that very much"

APRECIATED INDEED. It was Mrs Cheney who was candid enough to call the slime bag team (Kerry Edwards) on its cheap oily tricks to use her daughter.
