I'm not disowning God....I can tell you are passionate, and yes, I hate homosexuality, but I don't hate them that practice....hate the sin, not the sinner....I'm trying to dissuade you at all.....if you think Dick should have disowned his own daughter then great....I don't see it like that
You seem like a good sort, but I'm trying to tell you that we have all been infected by essentially a post-Biblical culture. The way you deal with dangerous deviancy is to make it very hard for the deviant to operate--the same way you would with cancer cells. God called it an "abomination." He also called the "false scale" an abomination. If we demonized and shunned people who make life dangerous or dishonest, we wouldn't have nearly as many social problems. I know you see yourself as being compassionate for taking the "love the sinner" view but that only applies AFTER someone is in a truly penitant state. When they are DEMANDING that your children learn about homosexuality in their 2nd grade math class, you call them the CHILDREN OF THE DEVIL that they are.
