Can you tell me one time when Ronald Reagan approved of the word Faggot being used? Good long hunting because you will never find one. ?

There's two reasons that you won't find that quote. The first is that Ronald Reagan had class. Ann can be funny and biting all day long, but she'll never be able to disarm her opponents with wit and charm the way Reagan did. That's not to say that Reagan was a pushover; clearly he wasn't. He had the ability to transcend the negativism of the time, not wallow in it.

The second is that it's a good Christian (and theoretically conservative) principle to hate the sin, and love the sinner. That is not only the mark of a pleasant soul, but it's good politics. Insults and slurs like this only help the MSM paint conservatism in general as Sharia-lite. It's like handing them free ammo. It may please certain segments of the right's base, it only serves to make conservatism unattractive to the average American.

You're missing something about Reagan. He had an edge--something none of these "kinder, gentler" imitators have. When I was a graduate student and he used the term "evil empire," I can remember how horrified the left was, something like they are with Anne. People who tell the truth are always going to offend people who defend lies. The homosexual lobby is a cancer on our republic, a barren branch, an angry, deviant band of people who literally cover their genitals with dung every time they have intercourse. It's about time we thoroughly demonized them.
