More from Accuweather:
Winds Ease Somewhat Sunday
*********************EXCERPT**************************
3/3/2007 1:52 PM
The very gusty offshore winds Southern
California experienced Saturday will begin to lessen somewhat on Sunday. By Saturday afternoon, some locations weathered sustained winds around 30 mph, with wind gusts reaching 40, 50, or even 60 mph. The strongest wind gusts were felt in the traditionally favored areas in the mountains as well as through and below passes and canyons, including:
- Wiley Ridge: 64 mph
- Warm Springs: 62 mph
- Mill Creek: 56 mph
- Chilao: 56 mph
- Bamp Nine: 55 mph
- Sandberg: 46 mph
- Piru: 42 mph
- Malibu Hills: 39 mph

Conditions on Sunday, however, will not be as conducive for such high wind gusts. The strong high pressure centered near the Rocky Mountains will weaken slightly, while the winds in the upper levels of the atmosphere subside. The gusty winds will become more localized as a result Saturday night and Sunday morning, mostly confined to the mountains and places through and below passes and canyons, while diminishing in other locations. The localized wind gusts will average 25-35 mph Saturday night and Sunday, instead of the 35 to 65 mph wind gusts being felt during the day Saturday. Despite this weakening of the winds Sunday, the fire danger will remain high as low relative humidities persist. Sunday afternoon will also be quite warm across Southern California as many locations rise into the 70s or even surpass 80 degrees.

I'm thinking it's time for another move --- this time to a 365 day warm climate --- let's tour the world in a yacht --- from sunny port to sunny port.
