LOS ANGELES COUNTY MOUNTAINS EXCLUDING THE SANTA MONICA RANGE-

NORTH TO NORTHEAST WINDS 35 TO 45 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 65 MPH WILL
CONTINUE THROUGH MID AFTERNOON...WITH THE STRONGEST WINDS THROUGH
AND BELOW PASSES AND CANYONS. WINDS WILL BEGIN TO DIMINISH LATER THIS
AFTERNOON.
MOTORISTS...ESPECIALLY OPERATORS OF HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES...ARE
URGED TO USE CAUTION IF TRAVELING INTO OR THROUGH THE MOUNTAINS
TODAY. BE PREPARED FOR SUDDEN GUSTY CROSS WINDS WHICH CAN CAUSE
VEHICLE LOSS OF CONTROL. RESIDENTS IN THE WARNING AREA SHOULD ACT
NOW...BRINGING IN GARBAGE CANS AND TYING DOWN LOOSE OBJECTS AS WINDS
MAY CAUSE LIGHTWEIGHT ITEMS TO BECOME PROJECTILES.
RESIDENTS IN THE ADVISORY AREA ARE ADVISED TO TAKE PRECAUTIONS NOW
BEFORE THE WINDS DEVELOP. CLOSE WINDOWS AND SECURE OUTDOOR

The winds never were apparent here but I thought since they were implying( the way I read it ) the winds were going to keep going till tomorrow.,...guess not... huh?
