So when you have a choice between Newt Gingrich and Duncan Hunter who do you choose?

I'm not one to give my allegiance easily.
Nor do I change that allegiance easily either.
Unless Hunter drops out, I will support him.
That being said, I like Newt Gingrich, and think he would make a fine President.

For people who don't know who Noemie Emery is, or who think she is a CINO, I'd recommend that you read her bio (I'm sure you can find it in Wikipedia). Or at least read her article.

I know a lot of Baptists who can't wait to vote for him. That's because they don't know him yet. My father was one of those Baptists - a deacon in a Southern Baptist Church. I have informed him of Rudy's positions on abortion, gun control, illegal immigration & gay marriage. He says he would never vote for him now. He is now informing other fellow Baptists on his email list of what Rudy's positions are.
The more you know about Guiliani, the more you want to find another candidate.

there was no evdidence then or to this date establishing as fact that the gunman was anything other than a nut job.All jihadis are nutjobs. And there absolutely was evidence this was a jihad:
In February 1997, Palestinian English teacher Ali Abu Kamal went to the 86th floor observation deck of the Empire State Building, pulled out a gun, and opened fire, killing one person and wounding six others before killing himself. Even though he carried letters ranting about the US and Israel, the media heavily promoted the story that he was despondent and suicidal after a financial loss.
Ten Years After Empire State Terror Attack, The Truth Comes Out
The Palestinian teacher who went on a fatal shooting rampage atop the Empire State Building carried a note blaming the United States for using Israel as "an instrument" against his people.
N.Y. killer carried political note
My recollection is that RG issued a press release within hours of the attack that identified shooter by name and origin
I meant "never" in the course of the Giuliani-McCarthy press conference. I should have been more specific. But he never did use the word "terrorism", even though the political motives of the shooter were glaringly obvious and NYC landmarks had been recently targeted and attacked by terrorists.
He made a political decision to exploit this incident in favor of a pet cause of his, instead of telling the truth about the growing threat of radical Islam.

People here won't want to hear this, but you'd be stunned at how many PRO-LIFE Republicans want to vote for Rudy. I will vote for the most conservative candidate possible who has a reasonable chance as of next spring.
By the way, my editor had a great quip: "I'm a single-issue voter. I'm pro-torture."

Sen. Goldwater, I would add that Rudy, alone, took some highly symbolic steps that no one short of Bush has taken, namely, he gave back money from the Arab Sheiks and had several other acts. Maybe they didn't DO much, but as symbolism it was important that major public figures with much more power wouldn't even do that much.

Tommy, this gets old. I was in a rock band for 10 years and have some pretty unflattering pics of me with hair down to my ankles. So that means I'm not "true blue?" Silly.

It's The Weekly sub-Standard (scoff)......don't worry about it. Anything this conhead rag publishes has zero credibility---like in the toilet.
Billy musta got his marching orders from Daddy and Mummy---their carefully laid plans to takeover the Republican Party, and to dump social conservatives off the party's lifeboat, is failing.
Billy was told he had better do something or Daddy and Mummy'll take the magazine away from the little guy.....so Billy came up with this tripe.
Many FReepers still remember election night Nov 2006 when little Billy sat on the Fox-TV news panel, grinning like a stupid moron at Repub losses----man, Billy was happy they lost.
Now Billy's plotting to have Repub's lose the 2008 race.....by offering up Mayor Rudumbo as their candidate.

I was talking to a friend of mine from work yesterday about Rino Rudy. He like myself is a fairly devote and practicing Catholic. He is involved in pro life, pro traditional marriage causes and know how leftist RR is. He of course will not vote for him, but he said something that gave me pause. "If Guilanie (SP?) wins the Republican nomination I make vote for the democrat. If he wins the Republicans will have now reason to keep the pro life plank in the party platform and move to the center. He has to lose at all costs." Just food for thought.

It depends on the rock band. If it was Krokus, Dokken, Europe or W.A.S.P., then I'm afraid you're unelectable.
