I can't even get a date and these guys are chopping them up....damn....
I hope her body is more intact.
Ya think?
Sounds like the "Rear Window" method.
He was doing everything possible to delay the police. He was stopped on a "routine traffic stop" the day after he reported her missing and the police found $4,000.00 on him. He said $2,000 was for his lawyer. In other words, he was hiring a lawyer before the investigation even began.
He was on local TV many times complaining that the local sherrif wasn't doing enough to find her because they were looking to hard at him as a suspect.
That's it! Thank you.
Stephen Grant's last-known interview: 'I was the perfect mom -- not Tara'

Anyone heard how the cops finally got the probable cause for the warrant?
Stephen Grant met Tara Destrampe while she was a student at Michigan State University. He had recently dropped out of school to take a job with former state Sen. Jack Faxon, D-Farmington Hills.
"I couldn't find another political job," Grant said. "That was right after 1994, the year the Democrats lost their shirts, and there were a lot of out-of-work Democrats. So I moved down here to work for my dad."
Where is Cockran? He was good with this stuff.
He's dead, Jim.
Who has custody of the children?
From one of the articles I read (I can't find it now) it was from a piece of plastic with blood on it one of the policemen found.
Did you see what one of the poster said the au pair left the country!

LucyVanPelt: "Who out there has an au pair? Why do we think there was hanky-panky here?"
sazeetz: "Spousal murders usually tend to be sick in nature. Crimes of passion and infidelity.
I still stand by my original assumption that Tara walked in on hubby and the au pair that night; that's why Tara's dead, that's why the au pair in the house that night left the country so swiftly and conveniently (no polygraph can be administered now) and Steve had that scratch on his nose when he reported his wife missing 5 days later. It stands to reason that if the wife caught him in the act, she would have told him right then and there it was over and she was filing for divorce ASAP. I doubt there was any infidelity on her part at all. It was her loving hubby who wrote "Marriage vows are like traffic laws. Sometimes you have to break them." Since he ignored multiple traffic laws and fines over the years, it wouldn't be surprising in the least that the same applied to his vows of fidelity to his wife. As I stated in a proir post, it wouldn't be the first time a man got caught with the babysitter's pants down, and it sure won't be the last.
I also posted last night I believed he would be found alive, but I thought he'd have made it to Canada considering the truck's proximity to the Canadian border when it was found. I knew this narcissistic sociopathic man would never take his own life. Instead, he's in the hospital, trying to garner as much pity over that as he did over his missing wife.
After wasting three weeks worth of resources searching for this woman on the public's dime, I sincerely hoped he'd kill himself and save the taxpayers from funding the resources it's gonna take to convict his guilty arse. My condolences to Tara's family, friends, children, and to the taxpayers of Macomb County for having to foot the bill for his trial.
