He is not a cross-dresser, he had some fun at 2 fund-raisers. So what? Some here carry intolerance to an extreme.

Dressing in drag as the court jester may be chic. But what leadership message does one get from the king dressed in drag? I suspect one that pulls out all stops on the hedonists. Just what we need, extreme perversity as diversity.

Well, I don't know, but in the time of real kings and bishops, it was customary to have a feast of fools every year, in which kings, priests, bishops, and even the Pope were mocked. "The World Turned Upside Down."

And in their day, the Romans, who were certainly stern, moral, and virile enough the rest of the time, celebrated Saturnalia.

It takes a real king to be unafraid of playing the fool once in a while.
